We grew up in Almora, a small town in Uttarakhand watching women knitting all day. We always admired them how effortlessly they knit while chatting, laughing and sharing their stories with each other. Their hands moved like the tune of a morning hymn, measuring the length of yarns and tangling the yarn in their fingertips. 

We always found our comfort and warmth in sweaters that were handmade with love. Now, at Oonnat, we are busy breathing new life into an old craft. Every piece takes several days to complete and we put in a lot of effort to find the right pattern and threads for you!
